* Re-Uses the existing OEM Starter Housing

* This Starter is Shorter & thicker than the original, and bolts to the original housing via Two (2) 1/4unc socket heads rather than the original long 1/4unc thru bolts

* The orignal starter end bracket is not required.

* Advanced timing, High Compression, & Increased cubic capacity can cause failure of Ring Gear, Pinion Gear teeth & Starter Clutch.

* Electronic or Manual Compression Releases are options for decreasing compression during start-up on Shovel Engines.
